The Letter of Competence in Subdermal Contraceptive Implants Insertion and Removal (LoC SDI-IR) training programme involves an e-learning programme and one-to-one practical training sessions on insertion and removal of subdermal contraceptive implants. Before you pay for the LoC SDI-IR training you must have:
- Contacted the CNWL Sexual Health Training Administration Manager to be accepted onto the course. There is a waiting list and we only accept trainees who provide care in Barnet, Camden, Haringey and Islington
- Passed the Online Theory Assessment (OTA) or hold a current DFSRH, NDFSRH, MFSRH or FFSRH
- Completed the e-SRH Module 14 a maximum of 3 months before your first clinical training session https://www.e-lfh.org.uk/programmes/sexual-and-reproductive-healthcare/
- Be up to date with resuscitation and anaphylaxis training and safeguarding training
