Credit Card Security

We ensure your safety by using the latest security measures to protect your details when you shop with us. All orders are processed securely using payment service provider PayPoint, which collects and validates your credit/debit card information using 128-bit SSL Software. Credit card details are processed on PayPoint secure servers and complete credit card details are not accessible to Freedoms. Secure pages are indicated by:

  • the web address changing from "http://" to "https://"
  • the "padlock" symbol (or key) appearing in either the bottom right-hand status bar of your web browser or on the right hand side of the browser address bar.

'3D Secure' is also enabled, providing additional security for customers who have enrolled via their banks into the Master Card Secure Code or Verified by Visa schemes. This scheme enables online identity authentication whenever Mastercard, Visa and Maestro cards are used via a unique personal code. Contact your bank issuer for further details of how to enrol into these schemes.

There is also the option to purchase on our site using PayPal, a fast and secure online shopping Payment Provider. You are required to set up an account with PayPal in order to use this payment function on our site. PayPal accounts can either hold credit that you transfer into them, or hold linked bank accounts or payment cards to them, in order to make purchases. Credit card details are processed on PayPal secure servers and any credit card details are not accessible to Freedoms.
